U of MN Closed

Found this online while fact checking my previous post:

The University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities closed during the afternoon on March 1st [2007] marking the first time since January 18, 1994 that the University closed due to a weather event.

This hasn’t happened in the 11 years I’ve been associated with the University until Monday.  I’m of course referencing a University delay.  The University has closed early before, but never a delay that I can remember.  I can only recall two times the University has closed early, the afternoon of 9/11 and once as a staff member in 2007(?).  Oh and it closed in December 2010 on a Saturday, but that doesn’t count.  Did I forget any?
