State Fair Tip!
My number one tip for enjoying yourself at the Minnesota State Fair…
Go by yourself. If you go by yourself you don’t really have to worry about it being too crowded because you can just zip in and out of crowds and back and forth between lines. You don’t have to wait for your group to catch up and decided where to next. There will always be other people in your way, but if you are by yourself you can easily change course and do something else.
Every year I have to have at least one SOLO Day at the fair in addition to all the other days with other people. On my solo day I can eat what I want and stop (or not stop) where I want. Going with friends is great too, but I love having the fair all to myself.
Minnesota State Fair Day 4: Food (I also had a second turkey sandwich, second ear of roast corn, and second batch of Sweet Martha’s).

Oh and I did this today. And by “this” I mean stop and take pictures at the fair. I did not ride this death trap.
