Fox will use ex-Minnesota coach Tim Brewster as a sideline analyst.
– Fox to use sideline veterans in college football coverage
Oh dear Lord. Do you think he’s thinking up new catchphrases already? “Gotta keep your [sideline] chili hot” or maybe “sideline nation”?

Meat Failure: Update
I finished the remainder of the Meat Your Maker on Sunday for dinner. I had no problem finishing the rest. However, the amount of grease contained in the cheese curds and onion rings was a little over the top. I am now confident that it is not likely that I would have been able to finish the entire meal in an hour even on my best day. But yet I maintain that I could have done better than I did...

This is a great example of why we needed a stadium on campus, other than football.

Meat Failure
I have attempted the Meat Your Maker Challenge, and I failed. I ate all four burgers, three grilled cheese and one chili dog. Essentially the heart of the challenge. I was not able to even start the cheese curds, onion rings or mounds of chicken fried bacon. I also left another chili dog. I estimate that I probably made it about halfway through.

This past weekend I took a quick trip down to Chicago to visit a friend and spend some time in the city. I have driven through Chicago a number of times but haven’t spent much time there other than a trip when I was younger with my folks.
I flew down on Friday afternoon and planned to meet my friend Hannah at Midway Airport. However, she had something come up at work and I had to...

Space Shuttles
I for one am happy they are retiring the space shuttles. We have been using the same vehicles to get us to space for over 30 years! My parents haven’t even owned the same car or house for that long. Although come to think of it they might have had the same microwave.

Summary of NYC Trip
Thursday, June 23
Woke up super early to catch the bus/light rail to the airport for a 5:45 am flight. Got to the airport safe and sound and onto the flight to Milwaukee.
Landed at Milwaukee and tried to get on stand by for an earlier flight to Laguardia. Didn’t happen as the flight was super full. In the end most flights, including our later one, to LGA were delayed due to bad...
