Path through NYC
Here is a Google Map of my path through NYC from (6/23 to 6/24 at 9:30 pm) and then (6/24 at 9:30 pm to 6/27). All this data thanks to Google Latitude and the fine folks at Skynet. Most of it’s correct but there are a few stray points where my iPhone didn’t have very good GPS reception. More details on my trip and photos in a subsequent post.

Ps. I didn’t think it was possible to make a more uncomfortable airline seat, but AirTran has really overachieved. Very...

6 years
As of today I have worked at the University of Minnesota for six years exactly. There have been some really fun times and there have been some not so fun times. Some highlights/milestones: I transitioned from freshman admissions to transfer admissions about 2.5 years ago, I finished my masters degree in engineering a year ago and I achieved one of the highest honors earlier this year (parking in...

What do you think will happen when this tech savvy generation gets into Congress and is better at hiding their internet indiscretions? Or will we just have better hackers to expose them?
