I’m running my very first race today! Monster Dash! Only a 5K but I think 5000 meters is enough. Thanks to Desiree and Joe for pushing me to do more!

Due to a random event this weekend I lost a contact lens. My last lens for that eye and I hadn’t scheduled my next appointment yet. I have since scheduled an appointment but didn’t want to have to wait a week and a half for new contacts. I stopped at my clinic and asked if they had any trial lens they could give me and they happily did with no apparent charge! Hooray. Thank God for insurance.

In an effort to remove the spam from my friends Facebook feeds, I’ve decided to open an unedited Twitter feed of what I watch on my living room TV. Thus removing these posts from Facebook.
Previously on Facebook, I would only post an edited version of what I was watching from my DVR. Which is how I watch most of the shows I watch regularly. Now it is a free-for-all that automatically posts my live TV and DVR watching habits. For any of you who care how this works I have a Windows Media Center Home Theater PC set up in my living room. This is how I watch TV and record shows. It also allows me to watch random digital videos, view pictures, watch DVDs and listen to MP3s from my TV. I have a separate program that posts Tweets (or previously Facebook posts) of what I’m watching if it’s longer than 2 minutes. That way you won’t see my random channel surfing.
I think this is a fun social experiment.
If Adam Weber can throw for 400 yards in each of the next four games he would be the all-time leading passer in Big Ten history passing Drew Brees. Unlikely considering our next four opponents are Ohio State, Michigan State, Illinois and Iowa. My guess is he will end up third all time behind Brees and Curtis Painter. Too bad we couldn’t use his talent more effectively the last four years.
