Can you remember?
I’m not sure what got me thinking about this but I was trying to remember certain technological milestones in my life. Do you remember life without internet? We got internet into my parents house the summer between my freshman and sophomore year in high school. Do you remember life without broadband internet? My parents got broadband in their house after they moved to KY which was...

Quick points...
I got my first library card in probably 10 years the other day.  I must say, the St. Paul Public Central Library is pretty amazing and I was only in two rooms. Second, I was at a local community college today and discovered that they have soda machines that accept credit cards.  When did that happen? And why doesn’t the University of Minnesota have this?

Go Gophers!
What is it with sports officiating this year?  MLB, SEC, Big Ten.  Geez.  Last night at the Gopher football game, the Gophers racked up a team record 17 penalties and 157 yards.  Granted many of them were stupid deserved penalties like false starts and holding calls.  But there were a few that made no sense to most fans; roughing the passer, late hits, unsportsmanlike conduct.
