I just found out that Ken Jeong of Community and The Hangover fame is actually an educated medical physician! Geez.

I got my first library card in probably 10 years the other day. I must say, the St. Paul Public Central Library is pretty amazing and I was only in two rooms.
Second, I was at a local community college today and discovered that they have soda machines that accept credit cards. When did that happen? And why doesn’t the University of Minnesota have this?

So for the last year or so I’ve been tracking the value of my condo, which I bought in 2006. When the housing market busted my condo’s value (according to Zillow.com) sank fast. Now it’s estimated to be roughly at the level that I bought it.

What is it with sports officiating this year? MLB, SEC, Big Ten. Geez. Last night at the Gopher football game, the Gophers racked up a team record 17 penalties and 157 yards. Granted many of them were stupid deserved penalties like false starts and holding calls. But there were a few that made no sense to most fans; roughing the passer, late hits, unsportsmanlike conduct.
