Two new store fronts in Dinkytown. Insomnia Cookies (they deliver cookies until 3 am) and Baldy’s BBQ. Any guesses in who closes first?

Both are very good opportunities for leadership development, understanding personal potential and goal setting. I love LeaderShape because it’s the same thing every time (for the most part). They’ve developed a tight program and that really works. Both programs share many of the same elements and present very similar information. I learned that the HOBY curriculum really varies from session to session and state to state, but there are common themes. HOBY is also for high school sophomores, which is great for them, but managing a group of minors can be an interesting task. LeaderShape is college aged students who are able to largely manage themselves. Overall, I would recommend either program, however, LeaderShape is my first love.

Have you ever signed up for something because it sounds like a lot of fun and something you’re interested in, but then once the time gets closer it turns out to be more work than you’d like and it’s not fun any more. I’m in that place now. My only hope is that it will actually be fun in the end. I’d just like a vacation.
I grilled 80 burgers at work today.
They are advertised as quarter pound and 75% lean.
This works out to 15 pounds of meat and 5 pounds of fat.
Yum!
- Travel to a state I’ve never been to. Candidates include: Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Washington, etc.
- Ride a roller coaster (it’s been too long since my last one).
- Run a 5K (one a year is probably enough)
- Attend a good concert
- Eat good food (Walking Ched?)
- Do something different at the State Fair
- and more….
My home theater PC (my DVR) is acting up which means it’s time to upgrade! Ceton InfiniTV 4 has been ordered. Anybody use a CableCard system?
Time to get started.

So I discovered this recently. It’s not BTN2Go, but it might change my tailgating experience.
